Thursday's HMOD - Better late than never!

Ok, I had a really hard time with this one, and lots of stuff going lately, but I apologize for shirking my HMOD duties!

My HMOD is: Chad Allen

Remember the cute blonde kid from Our House and My Two Dads? Or how about Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman and St. Elsewhere? Well, he grew up to be quite cute and quite gay (and proud of it).


Chad has been acting since he was 8. He became a teen idol, but tried to be a normal kid and left the business when he was 16. However, once done high school he landed a plum role on Dr. Quinn and turned down university to act again.
He came out as gay in 2001, but did not have a hard time finding work. He worked on a bunch of tv movies and then moved into more independent films. He lends his time to many charities and gay causes, and co-founded a theatre company.
Although he has been treated for depression, and has acknowledged drug and alcohol abuse, he seems to be back on track!
